Gucci Guilty Oud combines the best of traditional oriental perfumes with a modern, masculine edge. Top notes open with a quick burst of brilliant pink pepper. Tangy blackberry sweetens the scent yet constrains it with a hint of tannic. Intoxicating Bulgarian rose adds a distinctly sensual impression unlikely to be forgotten. The heart is based around exotic, natural Goldenwood, extracted from Nootka cypress, for a very rich, woody aroma. Musky, dry patchouli mingles with slightly spicy cypriol for an earthy middle. Pungent and erotic amber blends with animalic leather for a natural and compelling base. Musty and nutty Oud wood rounds out the base for a very woody, smoky and powdery sillage. Introduced in 2018, the fragrance was inspired by the morning walk in the woods of master perfumer Alberto Morillas, who loved to find hidden, shaded areas with the mist just starting to dissipate and the natural and heady aroma of the forest at its strongest.
